Are you a Purchasing Manager or similar from a Manufacturing background looking for full autonomy to take the reins and steer a procurement budget for a Manufacturing industry leader?

An exciting opportunity for a purchasing Manager looking to take on a pivotal role working underneath the Managing Director and be a Key decision maker for an industry leader in Engineering and Manufacturing, with full responsibility for the 25million+ budget

As the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing a significant procurement budget and stocks while overseeing supply chain management, purchasing, and stock control processes. This is a key role within the management team, contributing to company-wide strategies and decisions.

The Role:

* Manage procurement activities with an annual budget of 25 million and stock values between 3-4 million.
* Lead and develop a team focused on purchasing, and stock control.
* Drive cost savings and efficiency's through strategic supplier contract negotiations and improvements.
* Implement and oversee a fully functional live-stock system and integrated warehouse.
* Play an active role in new product development initiatives from a supply management perspective.

The Person:

* Substantial experience in Purchasing within Manufacturing
* Strong Management and project management skills, with a solid understanding of MRP & ERP systems.
* Skilled in negotiating and building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
