We’re looking for a Hire Controller to join a market leading supplier at their site in St Helens.
In this role you’ll be working in a busy and supportive team, ensuring smooth operations and top-tier service delivery.

What will you be doing as a Hire Controller?
- Handling telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries and orders from customers
- Ensuring the accuracy of all paperwork, including hire and sales contracts, purchase orders, and stock transfers
- Coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure the availability of equipment required for hire
- Organising drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery and collection of equipment
- Adhering to company Health & Safety policies to ensure safe working practices
- Maximising consumable sales opportunities at every interaction
- Meeting deadlines for the accurate reporting of information
What do you need?
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with InspHire software (or similar)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A full driving licence due to the location of the role
