We are looking for an External Sales Representative for our client with a network of branches across the UK who supply a vast range of timber, landscaping and building products to the construction sector.

This highly successful company is looking to recruit an External Sales Representative who is enthusiastic and has sales experience within the builders merchants sector to join their busy sales team. External Sales experience would be great, however, If you have internal sales experience within the industry and fancy going out on the road then this could the job for you! Hunger and determination are key! This is an interesting and varied role with a real focus on new business development and account management.

Therefore, this position requires someone who is really confident talking to people, understanding their needs and acting on this to provide sterling service to the customer. Attention to detail is also key. There are clear rewards within this company though - the right people can progress further and genuine talent will always be respected.

Dealing with many large sectors within the market but also targeting niches sectors, this a well respected and highly successful business.

For this External Sales role, a builders merchants background is required for this role so you can 'hit the ground running'. Sales experience is 100% required but this could be based on a previous internal or external role. The timber knowledge can be taught assuming you can absorb knowledge quickly. Full training will be given.
