Our client is a large and thriving mortgage brokerage, and they are looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team to lead their social strategies. You’ll have support from their wider network with jargon and general queries, but you will hold a large degree of autonomy in this position to create content and lead marketing campaigns to improve brand awareness and ultimately generate more business for the brokerage.

This is a hybrid position so ideally you will be based within commuting distance to Leicester, there are also potential requirements to attend a Sheffield office for occasional meetings.

Responsibilities of a Marketing Manager:

  • Create engaging content for use across a wide range of channels including email marketing, digital marketing, blogs, websites, events, and social media.
  • Plan marketing communication strategies to meet targets and ensure cross-channel delivery.
  • Analyze marketing activity results, monitor lead and conversion performance, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Manage and grow social media presence effectively and appropriately.
  • Support a wide range of external and internal events.
  • Develop offline marketing collateral such as leaflets, brochures, and promotional items.
  • Assist with artwork production, sourcing images, and taglines.
  • Undertake research projects to improve marketing effectiveness and appeal.
  • Take ownership of internal communications initiatives, delivering key updates and events.
  • Identify missed opportunities for marketing across the group.

Requirements to Become a Marketing Manager here:

  • 4+ years of experience in a marketing position.
  • Experience working within a financial services environment, knowledge of the mortgage market would be highly advantageous.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality copy and proofread for errors.
  • A good eye for creative design (though you will be able to utilise a graphic designer if required)
  • Social media knowledge and experience.
  • Proficiency with email marketing packages (e.g., Mailchimp).
