Job Role:
To operate CNC Machines (Grinding and EDM) in line with workload requirements, ensuring that all parts are machined to meet customer requirements and strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Operating CNC Grinding Machines, ensuring that parts are machined in accordance with the agreed method specification路 Attain machine setting skills to enable machine set ups 路 Understanding of engineering drawings路 Inspecting parts in line with quality procedures and taking any necessary, approved, action to resolve quality issues路 Operating CMM machines to support inspection requirement
The candidate:
-
Previous experience in CNC Grinding is advantageous but not essential

Previous experience in CNC machining is advantageous

Experience within an Aerospace sector is advantageous

Ability to read engineering drawings
-
Able to self-inspect own parts using manual measuring equipment
