Maintenance Engineer Leicester Manufacturing 3 Shift £47,000 - £51,000 + overtime Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a manufacturing specialist. This company manufactures aerospace products and have been at the forefront of their industry on an international level. This unique role offers full time salary working across 3 days. As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be tasked for carrying out reactive, preventative, and proactive maintenance for all equipment on site. Typical Duties will involve:
- To conduct Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.
- CNC and PLC fault finding and repairs
- Helps develop, implement, and monitor systems such as Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Reliability-Centred Maintenance, Condition-Based Maintenance, and FMEA programs.
- Working autonomously
- Conduct analysis and investigations using Failure Mode Analysis and Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys) on equipment failures that affect product quality, equipment uptime and plant capacity.
- Report conclusions to Maintenance Supervisor and make recommendations for improved programs and practices intended to prevent equipment failures.
- Participate in the creation and review of maintenance procedures and policies.
- Assist Facility repairs as and when required.
- Support machine relocation (Disconnection and re-commissioning)
- Competent record keeping
Desirable experience
- Have to have a relevant Engineering qualification
- 18th Edition
- Have to be experienced in a face passed manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to root cause analysis/problem solving processes.
- Experience of CNC machining Centres, Such as Haas, Heidenhain or Mazak
