NDT Inspector
Rotating Day/Late/Night - Monday - Friday
Salary: £18.48p/hr
Wigston (LE18)
We are looking for an experienced NDT Inspector who knows their way around visual, dimensional & fluorescent penetrant inspection techniques.
What will you be doing?
- Carrying out visual, dimensional, airflow & fluorescent penetrant inspections
- Operating CMM machines.
- Using conventional inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers etc.)
To get the elephant in the room out of the way, it is working on a rotating shift pattern
- Days (Mon to Thurs 05:45 - 13:45, Friday 05:45-10:45)
- Late (Mon to Thurs 13:45 - 21:45, Fridays 10:45 - 15:45)
- Night (Mon to Thursday 21:45 - 05:45, Friday 15:45 - 20:45)
Possible option for a fixed night shift.
What is needed from you?
- You need to have a level 2 FPI qualification.
- Previous experience as an NDT inspector (ideally in aerospace).
- Experience operating CMM machines & inspection equipment.
- Previous experience working to micron tolerances.
