Are you an Electronics Technician with a passion for fault-finding and hands-on work? KO2's client is expanding and looking for a skilled individual to join the team in Leicester. KO2's client specialize in building digital readouts and encoders for engineering machines, delivering precision measurement solutions for various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fix issues with digital readout and encoder systems for machinery.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as measuring components, diagnosing wiring issues, and ensuring everything is running smoothly before it reaches the engineering team.
  • Collaborate closely between engineering and production, troubleshooting equipment and machinery on the production line.
  • Use your knowledge of proximity sensors, pneumatics, and fault-finding to identify issues and communicate effectively with service providers for specialized machinery.
  • Fault-find and diagnose issues using an oscilloscope and multimeter, ensuring the smooth operation of the production line.
  • Read schematics, trace wiring faults, and fix smaller equipment issues like label printers or incorrect wiring components.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electronics Technician, with the ability to use an oscilloscope and multimeter.
  • Comfortable diagnosing a range of equipment from simple fixes to more complex sensor-related issues.
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot production line machinery faults.
  • Hands-on experience with basic machine maintenance and repair tasks.
