Our Client:

An established sheet metal / fabrication company are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all products manufactured at the facility. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of fabricated to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Identify and record any defects or deviations from specifications
  • Collaborate with production and assembly teams to address and resolve quality issues
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements on various components and products
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of inspection results and findings
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a quality inspection role
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Competent in the the use of height gauges, verniers and measuring tapes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
  • Certification or training in quality control is a plus
