Job Role: Quality Inspector
Location: Leicester
Shift: 07:30am to 4:30pm Mon to Thu / 07:30am to 12:30pm on Fri
Pay Rate: 13.50 to 14.00 per hour

Our Client:
An established sheet metal / fabrication company are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all products manufactured at the facility. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of quality.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of fabricated to ensure they meet quality standards
- Identify and record any defects or deviations from specifications
- Collaborate with production and assembly teams to address and resolve quality issues
- Perform visual inspections, measurements on various components and products
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of inspection results and findings
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
Experience:
- Proven experience in a quality inspection role
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Competent in the the use of height gauges, verniers and measuring tapes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Certification or training in quality control is a plus
