CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Key aspects of the Channel Development Manager role include:

• Work across depots, departments, functions, teams, categories and a wide variety of customer channels.
• Deliver implementation of customer category plans and reporting to support strategic direction of the business in partnership with key customers.
• Leading customer category range reviews in collaboration with commercial objectives to enhance market penetration and share as well as margin delivery.
• Fully understand our sub-categories in terms of market size, competitors, growth and trends.
• Pro-actively seek customer and consumer feedback on our products.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a similar background as a Category or Channel Development Manager ideally from within the food industry.

• Have an exceptional understanding of food trends, food ingredients and range planning.
• FMCG ready to eat and or ready to cook category experience in a retail environment.
• Identifying and bringing to market commercially profitable, consumer insight led opportunities
• Fluent French
• Strong analytical and presentation skills, ability to achieve consensus, and influence senior stakeholders and key customers.
