Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Traffic Marshall with a Fire Marshall Ticket for a long-term project in Glen Parva, Leicester. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining site safety, ensuring smooth traffic flow, and responding to fire safety needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage vehicle movement around the site, ensuring safety for all workers and visitors.
- Control access to and from the site, checking credentials and ensuring proper authorization.
- Monitor site entrances and exits, maintaining a log of all deliveries and vehicle movements.
- Implement fire safety protocols and respond to fire emergencies as a certified Fire Marshall.
- Conduct regular fire safety checks and ensure fire safety equipment is in place and functional.
- Coordinate with site management to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide clear communication and guidance to drivers and site workers.
Requirements:
- Valid Traffic Marshall/Banksman card.
- Valid Fire Marshall certification.
- Previous experience working on construction sites.
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
