HR Administrator, Wigton, £12.82 per hour.
We have a rare opportunity to join our client, a global manufacturing company. Due to a busy period, they are looking to recruit an HR Administrator until December 2025. While previous experience in an HR role is preferred, it is not essential.
Our client is seeking a candidate with strong administrative skills, excellent communication skills and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The working hours are Monday to Friday,
8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Full Time Only.
Duties
Reporting to the HR Shared Services Business Partner, the candidate will deliver an exceptional HR shared service to the organisation, in addition to being accountable for both the delivery of the transactional HR activity and providing support to strategic HR activity and projects.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Providing an efficient employee administration aligned to the shared services model.
- Ensuring consistency of service within the shared service model, by creating and maintaining HR templates, checklists, contracts, and other relevant documentation.
- Providing support and advice to both employees and line managers, regarding people management and HR queries.
- Ensuring all employment related documentation, and administration is input onto the HRIS, and employee filing systems to satisfy audit requirements.
- Input and prepare all employee payroll information onto the HRIS, to allow for the payroll team to process the accurate monthly payroll.
- Updating all internal sickness records, documentation, and the HRIS to ensure all absence information across the business is captured accurately.
- Providing effective administration recruitment and induction support to the wider HR Team when required.
- Providing support to the HR Management Team to deliver the business priorities as required.
What skills will you need?
- Excellent administration skills have previous experience working within a HR function, although this is not essential.
- Strong communication, planning and customer service skills would be required for the ideal candidate.
- As well as the ability to demonstrate integrity, accountability, and a strong attention to detail.
