You’ll ensure health, safety and environmental compliance, deliver training in safe behaviours and working practices and communicate and report areas of concern.Developing and maintaining our Safety, Health and Environmental Management System, you’ll oversee day-to-day practices and conformance, maintain oversight of any changes in legislation and industry guidance and undertake regular compliance checks.Additionally, you will:- Ensure statutory checks are completed in accordance with the relevant legislation- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersAbout YouTo be considered as our Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Advisor, you will need:- To have solid previous experience as a SHE Advisor or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment- To hold a NEBOSH Certificate (NVQ Level 3 equivalent)- To know about current UK Safety, Health and Environmental legislation- To be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite and familiarity with project management tools & software- To have excellent communication and interpersonal skills- To have a good eye for detailsClosing date for applications: Friday 15 November 2024Other organisations may call this role Health and Safety Advisor, Health, Safety and Environment Advisor, Occupational Health Advisor, Safety, Health, Environment & Wellbeing Advisor, H&S Advisor, or SHEQ Advisor.Webrecruit and First Milk are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
