IT Support Engineer
We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our client on site. The IT Support Engineer will be salaried between £35,000 - £40,000 with additional benefits. The IT Support Engineer will be the face of Technology UK, managing the IT UK functions as directed. Overall, the IT Support Engineer will be responsible on site and taking a leading responsible role, ensuring directions and responsibilities are completed by the IT Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support across user queries, logged requests, and technical incidents.
- Manage Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2008R2-2022) and desktop applications like Office Suite.
- Maintain and troubleshoot client devices (PCs, laptops, smartphones, printers).
- Support and administer physical hosts, virtual servers, and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with global teams for systems consistency and backups.
- Maintain asset registers and manage IT hardware/software procurement.
- Supervise IT support staff (currently one apprentice).
Skills & Experience:
- Strong Microsoft tech expertise (Active Directory, Exchange, Azure Entra).
- Proficiency in VMware vSphere.
- Preferred experience in system administration, hybrid IT environments, and technologies like CyberArk, Cisco Meraki, and HPE SAN.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively.
