Your new company
My client is a well-known, dynamic construction company that has been in operation for over 30 years. Specialising in both commercial and residential projects, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality, sustainable builds that stand the test of time.
Your new role
In your exciting new role as HR Administrator, you will be working within a small, friendly team to ensure all HR duties are completed in a correct, timely manner. Your duties will consist of:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Act as a first point of contact for employees on HR-related matters
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws & construction industry standards, including health and safety regulations
  • Assist in the development & implementation of HR policies tailored to the construction sector
  • Coordinate ongoing training programs
  • Manage payroll-related documentation
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data protection
  • Other general HR duties

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in the role, you would ideally need some experience working within the construction industry. However, this is not essential. What is essential is previous experience in an HR position or a position with similar duties. Personal attributes required for success will be:

  • A great attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Empathetic nature
  • Good IT skills
