A leading construction and civil engineering contractor are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their family-owned business and helpdeliver a wide range of newly secured projects valued between 45m to 60m.
Reporting to a Commercial Manager, your duties will include:
- Lead cost planning and estimation for large-scale civil projects.
- Develop procurement strategies and manage tendering processes.
- Oversee contract preparation, ensuring compliance with NEC/JCT contracts.
- Conduct risk analysis and value engineering to optimise project efficiency.
- Manage cost control, forecasting, and reporting to ensure financial oversight.
- Oversee valuations, payment certifications, and cash flow management.
- Handle variations, change orders, and commercial negotiations.
- Supervise final account settlement and project close-out procedures.
