Simple Recruitment are looking for a Refuse Operative for our client based in Willand to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The Job
As a Refuse Operative, you will be vital in providing a service to the people of Willand and collect recycling and waste refuse from the kerbside. This is an action-oriented role that will see you keep areas clean and free of waste, helping to present your local community as a safe and welcoming area to both residents and visitors.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect recycling and waste refuse from households and trade premises.
- Assist drivers in reversing and manoeuvring vehicles.
- Ensure you adhere to health and safety best practices at all times.
- Help prepare the vehicle for unloading and remove all recycling materials on return to the depot.
- To work in the depot when required and operate baling equipment.

Salary
£12.18 per hour.
Hours                                                                                                     Â
37 hours a week starting at 6.00am. Due to the nature of the tasks, finish times need to be flexible.
