Freight Logistics Forwarder

Cullompton, Devon

Temporary Role

 

gap personnel Exeter, are currently recruiting for a Freight/Logistics Forwarder based on the outskirts of Cullompton. You will be joining a global market leader who supply medical equipment globally.

 

Duties of a Freight Forwarder but not limited to:

  • Organising the shipment of goods
  • Negotiating terms with carriers, booking cargo space, and making payments
  • Managing customs clearance procedures, transport documents, and insurance paperwork
  • Tracking and communicating shipment status with clients in real-time
  • Checking that shipments are delivered on time.
  • Researching freight rates and arranging shipments between different locations with asset-based transport outfits
  • Sending the necessary documents for collection

 

About You:

  • Freight or Logistics Experience
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Self Sufficient
  • This role could become permanent for the right person.

 

Working Hours & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday, 0900am – 1700pm
  • £25,000 - £28,000PA
