Wolverhampton
Zeal Recruitment are looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter to join a well-known maintenance contractor on a Permanent basis. This role will be working throughout the West Midlands, predominately Wolverhampton working on a variety of sectors including Commercial, Healthcare & Leisure.
As a Multi-Trade Carpenter your duties will include:
Reactive & planned repairs and maintenance
Internal Refurbishment projects
Carrying out repairs to the Fabric of a building and external works, including but not limited to: Carpentry, hanging doors, skirting boards, architraves, patch plastering, Painting, Basic Plumbing, Brickwork, Slabbing, Roofing
Independent working, as well as team working when needed across various sites
Travelling between multiple sites per day
As a Multi-Trade Carpenter you will need:
Experience within Reactive and planned maintenance within commercial settings
Valid CSCS Card
Asbestos Awareness desirable
Full Clean UK Driving Licence
Enhanced DBS to be taken prior to commencing the role
NVQ level 2 minimum in your primary trade
IT literate
High standard of work
Good communicator
The successful Multi-Trade Carpenter will be working for a successful business who have a strong foothold within the maintenance sector. You will also receive a company van and fuel card, work wear, PPE, Phone, Tablet, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension contribution. There are great opportunities for overtime, which is paid at a higher rate. You will also be on call out 1 in every 6 weeks where you will receive £100 standby fee payment from door to door.
You will be enrolled into the company Private Health care plan after successful completion of 6 month probation.
