We are seeking a skilled CNC setter/ operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier products to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.
  • Interpret mechanical specifications and drawings to ensure accurate machining processes.
  • Utilise precision measurement tools to verify component dimensions and quality standards.
  • Edit and adjust CNC programs as necessary to optimise machining processes and ensure part accuracy.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to meet strict quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve machining processes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Must be a UK national and will need to pass security vetting upon employment.
  • Apprentice trained or relevant qualification in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Setter/Operator, preferably in a similar role within an industry that manufactures high precision products
  • Proficiency in setting up and operating 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues.
  • Excellent mathematical skills and a keen eye for detail.
