IRS Group, are recruiting a Junior Hygiene Manager to oversee cleanliness and sanitation standards at our clients facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high levels of hygiene and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Our client are the market leaders in the development of coatings, mixtures, and marinades for the food industry and are looking for someone to join our team.
This will be a full-time and permanent opportunity for the right applicant.
We are currently seeking a Hygiene Manager Working Hours are across day-shifts, Monday to Friday. We are flexible on start and finish times to suit the individual across 0600am starts - 5pm finish. This can be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement hygiene protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Train and supervise cleaning staff on proper hygiene practices.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialised cleaning services.
- Investigate and resolve any hygiene-related issues or complaints promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a hygiene role.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ideal candidate will come from a similar role within a food manufacturing or processing plant.
This role will come with further opportunities for training and development.
Candidate will need some flexibility to support the Hygiene Department around shifts, however this position will be on fixed day shift pattern.
