Your new schoolThis primary school in Walsall is looking for a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.This primary school is such an integral part of the local community. Their pupils come from a range of rich and diverse backgrounds, and many are dual language speakers. They are a very friendly and nurturing school and have pride in knowing and supporting their pupils very well.Your new roleThe role is working with children aged 3-4 years. You will be supporting colleagues and working as a team to provide a homely, stable, and stimulating environment for all children. You will also be helping to develop the children's learning and abilities through phonics sessions and monitoring their progress and taking out small groups of children with SEN for interventions.What you'll need to succeed

  • A Level 3 qualification is required for this role.
  • You must have 2 years' experience in a nursery setting.
  • Must be open to work with children with SEN.
  • Confident in preparing and delivering high quality activities in line with EYFS outcomes.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
