Exciting Opportunity for an NVQ 3 / BTEC Electrical Plant maintenance Engineer in Wednesfield!

Position Details:

  • Permanent Role with a 3-Tier Shift Pattern (early, mid, late)
  • Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum (including shift allowance) + Quarterly and Annual Bonuses
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, program, and troubleshoot electrical drive systems, particularly Siemens and Allen Bradley
  • Modify PLC electrical programs and resolve faults effectively
  • Ensure plant operations meet top-notch quality and customer service targets
  • Maintain high compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide fast and efficient engineering services, addressing quality and safety issues immediately
  • Record and report maintenance activities using management systems

What We're Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade, or completion of a recognised apprenticeship
  • Strong industrial background, qualified to 18th Edition IEE standards with BTEC ONC / HNC level or equivalent
  • Proven experience in electrical maintenance, especially in commercial or heavy engineering environments
  • Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Flexibility, eagerness to learn, and a commitment to continuous development
