As a Deputy Manager, you'll have various responsibilities including:

  • Autonomy for your own home
  • Managing and developing your staff team, placement requests, and rotas
  • Leading a team on a day-to-day basis
  • Making decisions in line with policy and procedures
  • Ensuring documentation is complete and up-to-date
  • Promoting therapeutic practice within the home
  • Being a positive role model for the children
  • Reporting to the Registered Manager

The ideal Deputy Manager candidate will have:

  • Experience as a Senior Residential Support Worker or Deputy Manager in a children's residential home
  • Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Care
  • UK Driving Licence (willing to commute)
  • (Preferred) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Care
