We are recruiting for a Supply Teacher to join our team, to work in various primary schools across Wolverhampton on a day-to-day supply basis. Supply teaching allows you to work across all key stages, in various locations whilst having the independence to control where and when you want to work. Many teachers are turning to supply roles for a number of reasons and enjoy having extra time to be involved in other commitments outside of work.

The Role
As this is a day-to-day supply teacher role, you will not be expected to plan lessons however you will be expected to:

  • Create a positive learning environment
  • Work alongside the teaching assistant
  • Effectively manage the behavior of pupils
  • Deliver pre planned lessons, in an engaging and creative way to your class

To apply for this Supply Teacher role you will need:

  • Experience in teaching in either Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
  • A strong school reference from your recent employer

You will be offered day to day supply in various primary schools across the region, including Wolverhampton, Newbridge, Shortheath, Wednesfield, Wood Hayes, Willenhall, Moseley, Oxley, Upper Penn, Bilston, Parkfields, Stirchley and Womborne. Most schools have excellent transport links and offer onsite parking.
