As an HGV Technician you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring repairs are carried out according to manufacturers procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.
- Carry out general servicing and maintenance.
- Assist in the fault diagnosis process
- Road test vehicle when required (if holder of HGV licence).
- Ensure that all vehicle defects are reported to your workshop controller.
- Complete relevant paperwork and documentation.
- Working alongside fellow technicians daily and resolve as a team where applicable
To be successful in this role as a HGV Technician you must have:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter is essential.
- A formal qualification to NVQ level 3 as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter or equivalent
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Class 1 or 2 licence desirable but not essential
