Production Team Leader

Location: WillenhallSalary: £25,000 Hours: 39 hours per week

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Friday: 7:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Occasional Saturday work when overtime is available.

Overview:We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Team Leader to join our clients team in the Willenhall area. You will be responsible for leading and supervising the production team, ensuring that quality and output targets are met. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a significant impact within a busy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the production department to ensure that products meet quality standards and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Sales, and Finance.
  • Manage the production planning schedule and act as the central contact for sales administrators.
  • Develop and brief the capacity and demand profile within manufacturing.
  • Implement a training program for team members and maintain the operative skills matrix.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Stores to ensure all required components are available for production.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in a similar team-leading or supervisory role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel proficiency.
