IRS Group, are recruiting a Night Shift Supervisor to oversee the Production and Manufacturing Operations of our clients Facility based in Willenhall.
Our client are the market leaders in the development of coatings, mixtures, and marinades for the food industry and are looking for someone energetic to join their team.
This will be a full-time and permanent opportunity for the right applicant.
Working Hours are Night Shifts, Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am.
Job description
- Decision-Making: Confidently make operational decisions to ensure uninterrupted production during the absence of senior management.
- Team Supervision: Oversee staff performance to ensure they meet their assigned targets for the shift.
- Shift Coordination: Effectively manage staffing adjustments to address absences, ensuring seamless handovers for the incoming shift.
- Workplace Readiness: Ensure all staff clean their work areas to a high standard, maintaining a prepared environment for the next shift.
- Issue Management: Address and resolve any staff-related or ingredient/packaging issues that arise during the night.
- People Skills: Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage and resolve employee concerns.
Our client will be offering a salary between 36,000-38,000 per annum
ideal candidate will be responsible for the supervision of approx x30 night shift employees including section Team leaders.
