About the Role: Back End Developer role, designing, developing, and maintaining services for their internal and public-facing Angular applications, including a £7m revenue public website. You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of the backend side, mentor future team members, and play a crucial role in steering the direction of development practices.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement backend development strategies
- Write and maintain efficient, reusable, and robust code
- Mentor and develop less experienced team members
- Implement best practices for high-quality, performant, and scalable solutions
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and other issues
- Set and maintain code quality standards and testing regimes
- Collaborate closely with the front-end development team
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience in C# and .NET 4.5 framework / .NET Core
- Strong understanding of SOLID principles, RESTful services, and API design
- Good understanding and experience of Domain Driven Design (DDD)
- Commercial experience with Entity Framework 6 / Entity Framework Core
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps CI and CD pipelines
- Experience monitoring and managing Microsoft Azure resources
