The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and proactive electrically biased Maintenance
Technician to join us within our growing in-house Maintenance Team.
Monday to Friday, two shift pattern rotating weekly
Regular opportunities to complete overtime to enhance income
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include;
Service and repair of plant and equipment used in the manufacture of tubular components and
assemblies, for automotive and aerospace applications
Be flexible and capable of undertaking general maintenance throughout the site
Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out with due regard to the safety of employees
adhering to relevant regulations and operating safe working practices within the work
environment
Responding to equipment breakdowns and resolving related issues
Be accountable for all reactive and proactive maintenance work across the site, carry out
prompt and effective repairs in a safe and timely manner
Able to work alone, or as part of the multi-skilled team of engineers, supporting traditional and
high-tech equipment
Hands on experience of maintaining and repairing equipment with industrial drives and control
systems (CNC/PLC)
Knowledge of Robotic and Laser equipment is also of benefit
Our ideal candidate? Your application will demonstrate the following:
- Candidates for this role should have significant electrical maintenance experience
- Qualification equivalent to BTEC/NVQ Level 3/HNC/HND
- A desire to improve efficiency across the site
- Be able to resolve problems in all working areas
- Demonstrated flexibility in approach and skills

The role is on a two-shift pattern of working. Monday to Friday 6am1.30pm or 1.30pm to 9pm.
