NC Associates are working in partnership with a rapidly expanding PE backed organisation based in Cheshire who are looking to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant to help support the FD and CFO. As a Financial Reporting Manager you will gain excellent exposure to the wider business and be pivotal in delivering robust financial information alongside the wider team to help drive the business forward. 

Duties

  • Manage P&L, balance sheet and cashflow forecasting.
  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes to ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Manage the consolidation of financial statements for all entities within the group.
  • Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Ensure all financial reporting complies with IFRS and GAAP.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory filings and ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including tax filings and statutory accounts.
  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns including quarterly estimates.
  • Prepare and submit VAT and other sales tax returns for relevant jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate and manage group audit.
  • Identify financial and operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate governance.

Essential Experience Required

To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience

  • CIMA, ACCA, ACA Part Qualified - Qualified Accountant
  • Previous experience working within a similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
