Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage debt collection, proactively reducing outstanding balances.
  • Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients.
  • Negotiate payment plans and terms with clients professionally and tactfully.
  • Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, handling invoice queries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable, highlighting outstanding issues.

Profile

The successful credit controller requires:

  • Proven experience in credit control or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
