This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior data engineer to join a fast-growing IT consultancy based in Manchester! If you are an expert in the MS Azure tech stack, experienced overseeing a team of data professionals and building ETL pipelines, this is the perfect role for you!

Job Description

Design, construct and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, integrating data from various sources into Azure SQL database.

Oversee and line manage a team of 4 data engineers across end-to-end project life cycle.

Transform raw data into relevant formatted data through complex procedures in Azure SQL ensuring data consistency and quality, maintaining the integrity of analytical results.

Utilise Power Query to import data from SQL, ensuring thorough data cleaning and preparation before proceeding with data modelling in Power BI.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs, gather requirements, and develop effective data solutions to support organisational goals.

  • Communicating data solutions with stakeholders upon request
  • Manage team of data engineers to ensure goals are project goals are achieved on schedule
