Axon Moore is seeking a commercial astute individual to join a fast-growing, PE-backed professional services business in South Manchester.
The role offers a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000 and requires advanced Excel skills along with experience in business partnering.
Candidates should ideally have experience with Power BI and SQL, and be ACCA/CIMA part qualified.
Responsibilities include analyzing business performance metrics, preparing reports, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes.
The position is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

The CompanyAxon Moore is exclusively partnering with a fast growing, PE backed professional services business in South Manchester. Due to continued growth they require a commercial astute individual with strong Excel skills to join their rapidly growing team.Salary – £35,000 - £40,000Location – South Manchester/CheshireHybrid – 3 days in 2 working from home.Responsibilities will include:

Analysing the live business performance metrics to help us understand how to improve EBITDA alongside the Head of Commercial Finance.
Validating and distributing commercial and customer information within the business on a timely basis.
Handling large amounts of data; extracting data from source, manipulating data to build and automate KPI reports.
Prepare and present information for key leadership meetings.
Involvement in year-end and half-year budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
Contribution to monthly rolling forecasts.
Calculation of commissions, bonuses and other key cost lines.
Reviewing and explaining PL performance vs budget and prior year to understand key trends and areas for improvement.
Business partnering with colleagues outside the finance function.

Person Specification:

Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with Power BI, SQL desirable.
ACCA/CIMA Part qualified.
Broad experience of using standard accounting/ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, etc.
Experience of business partnering within a professional work environment.
