Finance Manager - Permanent - Wilmslow - UP TO £60k DOE
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our client based in the heart of Wilmslow. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of financial services. This role is pivotal in overseeing financial planning, management, and accounting functions, ensuring the organisation's financial health and compliance with regulations.
Duties
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organisational goals.
- Oversee financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Manage financial accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial statements.
- Supervise accounts payable processes to maintain effective cash flow management.
- Monitor cost control measures to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have worked within a Senior Finance role previously, have strong leadership skills and an in depth knowledge on accountancy principles. A relevant degree in finance, accounting or a related field is preferred; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous.
