Eventus Recruitment Cheshire are working with a well-established IFA Practice based in Wilmslow, Cheshire, who are seeking to recruit an additional IFA / Financial Planner to join their advisory team. The team prides themselves on understanding clients' unique needs and delivering a full holistic financial planning advisory service. Benefits include 30 days holiday plus bank holiday, generous commission of up to 25%, matched pension of 10% of salary, death in service, private medical insurance and study support.

Role responsibilities

The role of Financial Planner brings with it an existing client bank. This consists of approximately 40 clients with an average investment value of £450K per client (c£18m in total). The successful Financial Planner will step in and grow this client bank, developing a significant book of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Planner, who would like to benefit from the business’s existing client relationships, whilst also being supported to grow their client base:

  • Cultivating and nurture strong client relationships, with a focus on providing first class financial planning services.
  • Working collaboratively to identify opportunities for financial planning services.
  • Developing and implementing customised financial plans tailored to each client's unique objectives and requirements (cashflow planning).
  • Staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to offer the best possible financial advice.
  • Meeting and exceeding targets and performance metrics.

Person specification

  • Proven track record as a successful Financial Planner
  • Level 4 qualified and ideally Chartered Status, or close to achieving
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and address clients' financial needs.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities
  • Always delivering an exceptional client-centric service
