Summary

A leading health and fitness company has a brand new position for a BI Developer to join their team. The company is based in Greater Manchester, with transport links and amenities nearby.

In this role you would be integral to designing and delivering BI solutions that will be fed across the business to assist them in achieving their wider goals. You'll be part of their highly established Planning and Analysis team working to accelerate their existing reporting.

Not only will your contributions to delivering accurate and consistent data will be valuable to the company, but they will also endeavor to ensure your own personal development and progression aims are valued. You'll be surrounded by a supportive management team with regular catch-ups to make sure your own personal goals are being met.

The role is being offered on a permanent basis with 3 days on-site / 2 days WFH.

The Role and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in data and how it can be used to improve business efficiency. You'll bring new ideas on how company data can add value so being a creative and analytical thinker is a must! You'll use your initiative and out-the-box thinking to create and manage dashboards, providing stakeholders with actionable insights.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Use Power BI to create and maintain reports and visualizations
  • Improve existing Power BI reports
  • Work with large and complex datasets
  • Ensure data integrity is to a high-standard, and fix any identified issues
  • Support team members when required to ensure their understanding of reports
  • Keep up to date with the latest tools, trends and techniques
