Technical Solution Architect

I'm assisting this incredibly well respected and innovative technology company that delivers cutting-edge solutions from thier South Manchester Head Office. They are seeking an experienced Technical Solution Architect to join their growing team and help them design and implement robust technical solutions that drive their business success. Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Lead the design of scalable, reliable, and secure solutions for enterprise-level clients, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical requirements, and industry standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other technical teams to understand client needs and translate them into comprehensive technical architectures.
• Technical Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the solution delivery process. Review and approve solution designs, ensuring they meet quality standards and best practices.
• Architecture Strategy: Develop and maintain long-term architectural roadmaps that align with business objectives and industry trends.
• Technology Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cloud computing, enterprise integration, and software development to inform design decisions.
• Risk Management: Identify technical risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
• Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and implementation plans.
• Client Interaction: Provide expert guidance and presentations to clients, helping them understand technical concepts and how the solution will solve their business challenges.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Solution Architect or in a similar role, designing and implementing complex IT solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), enterprise architecture, and modern software development practices (e.g., microservices, containerization).
• Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, and data management.
• Proven experience with IT infrastructure, network design, and security protocols.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a leadership role, mentoring teams and driving technical strategy.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, etc.
• Knowledge of enterprise software solutions (CRM, ERP, etc.) and integration techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
