This is a desktop-based role where you'll either be office-based or have the option to work from home after an initial training period. You will be responsible for managing repair estimates, using the chosen platform of estimate generation as well as a manual process to ensure the repair methods are cost-effective and compliant with industry standards. You'll also play a key role in liaising with repairers and offering technical support across the business.Key Responsibilities:Workload Management: Oversee and control the volume of cases within your remit, ensuring timely and accurate progress.Cost Savings: Provide cost-effective solutions to our clients, helping them save on repairs while ensuring quality.Technical Support: Offer technical assistance as needed to both internal teams and clients.Repair Compliance: Ensure that all authorised repairs meet guidelines and standards.Feedback & Reporting: Provide feedback to the network division on non-compliant repairers, with supporting evidence.Claims Progression: Update internal systems to track claims and keep all stakeholders informed.Customer Support: Manage incoming queries (both via phone and email) from staff and clients, adhering to reasonable response times.Prioritisation & SLA Adherence: Prioritise tasks to meet departmental KPIs and agreed service level agreements (SLAs).Skills & Experience:Proven experience working closely with repairers in the automotive industry.Strong knowledge of automotive estimating systems and repair processes.Familiarity with the commercial vehicle accident repair sector is a plus.Experience resolving complex issues or complaints involving customers or repairers.Ability to understand and interpret client requirements and provide tailored solutions.Strong negotiation skills, particularly in rate agreements and service delivery.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks.Advanced computer literacy and experience with claims operating systems.Exposure to the insurance, claims, or commercial vehicle sectors is highly beneficial.Desirable Qualifications: ATA (Automotive Technician Accreditation), AQP (Accredited Quality Practitioner), IAEA (Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors), or VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) qualifications.Benefits:Flexible Work Location: Option to work from home after initial training, providing you with flexibility to balance your work and personal life.Comprehensive Training: Receive full training and support during your first three months to set you up for success.Competitive Salary: Starting from £34,000 per year, with opportunities for growth as you progress.Career Progression: As a growing company, we are committed to helping our employees develop their skills and advance in their careers.Inclusive and Supportive Culture: Work in a dynamic, supportive environment with a strong focus on teamwork and development.About the Recruitment Agency:This role is being handled by Time Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency specializing in placing skilled professionals in the automotive and claims sectors.
