Position Overview:As a Principal Recruitment Consultant, you will take the lead in managing and growing key client accounts while driving the recruitment of top talent across various IT specialisms. This is a hands-on, strategic role where you will leverage your expertise to shape recruitment strategies and build lasting relationships with clients and candidates. Your experience and network will be vital in ensuring the continued success of our clients and the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the recruitment process end-to-end for clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality talent across IT roles.
Manage relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor for all recruitment needs.
Develop and implement tailored recruitment strategies, working closely with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements.
Drive business development activities to identify and win new clients and projects, expanding the firm’s market presence.
Mentor and coach junior consultants, providing guidance and training to help them achieve their potential.
Stay up-to-date with market trends and technological advancements to ensure you are always offering clients and candidates the best insights and advice.
Build and maintain a strong network of top-tier IT talent, ensuring a continuous pipeline of candidates.
Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to enhance the firm’s brand presence within the IT recruitment market.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant or Principal Recruitment Consultant, ideally within the IT sector.
Strong knowledge of the IT recruitment market, with experience working with various technologies, platforms, and industries.
Understanding of Databricks technologies and a keen interest in the data and cloud computing space is highly desirable.
Excellent client management and business development skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with senior-level stakeholders and candidates.
Strong sales acumen and the ability to negotiate and close deals.
Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities.
Proactive, driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience or knowledge of recruitment in areas such as data engineering, data science, cloud technologies, and machine learning.
A network of contacts within the technology and Databricks communities.
Strong understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, from talent sourcing to negotiation and placement.
Previous experience working in a leading recruitment firm is a plus.
