?Are you a passionate educator looking to make a difference in the classroom? Do you thrive in a dynamic and varied teaching environment? We are seeking a dedicated Cover Teachers to join our team, supporting schools across Wilmslow.
The Cover Teacher Role
As a Cover Teacher, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects to secondary students.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different school settings, building rapport with students and staff.
- Provide continuity in education during teacher absences, maintaining high standards of learning and engagement.
We’re looking for individuals with the following:
- A teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or significant experience in teaching.
- Confidence in delivering lessons across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working in different schools.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
