Senior Data Scientist - Manchester - Hybrid - 80k

Great opportunity for a highly experienced senior data scientist to join an expanding data team, giving you the keys to develop the data science side of their already successful data team! There will be a heavy focus on machine learning, ML engineering and predictive modelling, if this sounds like you, you could soon find yourself leading a team of data scientists!

Salary and Bonuses

  • Competitive salary of 80k + bonuses

What do I need to apply

  • SQL: Advanced SQL use of Functions for Analytics, Recursive CTE
  • Python: Data set manipulations
  • Machine Learning: TF-IDF and linear Regression techniques
  • ML Engineering/Data Engineering background: ML Engineering will be a big part of this role
  • SQL Server: Some DBA knowledge would be useful in this role
  • Statistical Methods: Understanding of statistical tests, distributions, and maximum likelihood estimators.
  • Data Cleansing: Techniques for handling missing data, outliers and normalization
  • Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem solving: Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
