Travel Consultant - Expedition Tour Operator
As a Travel Consultant, you will play a vital role in our client's team, working closely with customers to plan and book their dream expedition adventures.
Travel Consultant - what will I be doing?
- Providing exceptional customer service, both in person and over the phone/email.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to understand their travel preferences and needs.
- Meeting sales targets by effectively promoting our client's expedition bespoke tours and upselling additional services.
- Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless trip planning and execution.
Travel Consultant - what experience do I need?
- Passionate about travel, particularly expedition and adventure travel.
- Destination knowledge of South America including Chile, Argentina & Galapagos (desirable)
- Previous travel industry experience (luxury or tailormade)
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to demonstrate solid sales targets and thriving in a target-driven environment.
- Possesses strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Experience of working in a small to medium sized business environment
- Able to work independently and find solutions to any problems
Travel Consultant - What else do I need to know
- Competitive salary £27-£30k plus uncapped commission with an OTE of c£40-£45K

- Opportunity to travel - attending educational trips abroad to some incredible destinations
- Flexible working arrangements but would need to be in the office in Cheshire full-time for the first month and then 2-3 days a week
- The hours are Monday to Friday 9 - 5.30 with on call weekend work approximately once every 3 weeks
