TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR

WORKING 5 DAYS BETWEEN MONDAY - SATURDAY ON A ROTATING SHIFT:

SHIFT 1: 10:00 - 18:00

SHIFT 2: 13:30 - 21:30

£12.51 PER HOUR

People Solutions are looking for a Transport Administrator for their Client based in Cheadle.

As an Administrator, you will be providing both clerical and administrative support to the Business.

You will be involved in the coordination and implementation of office procedures.

This role would require you to work 3 Saturdays out of 4 on the 10:00 - 18:00 shift.

Day to Day Duties

As a Transport Administrator, your duties will involve but not be limited to:

• Be a brand ambassador, delivering an outstanding end to end customer experience
• Manage vehicle defects to ensure roadworthiness of the fleet
• Maintain and update in an accurate and timely manner the vehicle maintenance planner
• Ensure all vehicle and driver records are maintained in accordance with regulations
• Assist with general administration daily tasks
• Ensure compliance with the Road Transport Working Time Directive, Domestics regulations and EU drivers' hours regulations
• Promote and adhere to all Legal, Health and Safety customer Delivery Hub operating procedure

Essential Skills

The following skills are essential for this role:

• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of IT Systems
• Experience of working in an administrative role
• Previous experience of data processing and inputting
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and systemic)
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Able to easily adapt according to circumstances and change approach as required

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of telematics and route planner system
• Knowledge of driver's hours
• Experience of working in a transport environment
