InstaStaff are currently supporting a specialist engineering company based in Tamworth, with the recruitment of their new Account Manager. This is a brand-new role within the business, and such a great opportunity for the right person.
You will be dealing with new, existing, and lapsed accounts, managing accounts, generating business and building relationships.
You will be based full-time out of their newly refurbished, modern Head Office in Tamworth, close to all local amenities, transport routes and with free car parking
The duties of the Account Manager will be:
- Managing existing clients, and building strong working relationships with key decision makers
- Supporting the Area Sales Managers and Technical Engineers daily
- Dealing with enquiries from existing and new customers
- Growing existing accounts and generating extra business and orders
- Regularly review allocated accounts
- Negotiating payment terms with existing and new customers
- Arranging and attending meetings with customers
- Achieving the product targets set for each allocated customer
- Responding to all customer enquiries within an agreed timescale
- Inputting all customer orders efficiently and correctly
- Maintaining and recording accurate and easily accessible customer information
The ideal Account Manager will have:
- Experience within a similar role
- Knowledge of tooling and cutting would be an advantage but not essential
- The ability to build relationships
The salary for the Account Manager is circa £30,000 plus a quarterly bonus.
Hours of work for the Account Manager will be Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5pm and Friday 8.30am -4pm.
