Job Summary
We are seeking 6 skilled FLT Reach Truck Operators to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the sa fe and efficient operation of forklifts to load and unload materials, ensuring that all warehouse activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy lifting, as well as familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accuracy in inventory management.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues for repair.
• Utilise basic maths skills for inventory counts and material measurements.
• Handle materials safely, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist in maintaining an organised warehouse environment, ensuring that all items are stored correctly.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency within the warehouse.

Experience

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is essential.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and equipment repair skills are advantageous.
• Experience in materials handling, shipping, receiving, and heavy lifting is required.
• Basic maths skills are necessary for effective inventory management and material handling tasks.
• FLT Reach truck license needs to be in date

We are currently looking for, with an immediate start (Monday 18th of Nov):

• 3 x FLT Reach Truck drivers, 6am - 2pm, Monday – Friday, hourly rate: £13.40
• 3 x FLT Reach Truck drivers, 2pm – 10pm, Monday – Friday, hourly rate: £13.40 (between 2pm-8pm) and £14.14 (between 8pm-10pm).
