Account Teacher - January 2025
The Position
We have a fantastic opportunity at an Independent School for an experienced and interactive Accounts Teacher on a full time, permanent basis. This is a national role to support with the national Timetable with Zoom Teaching across other campuses and to provide professional leadership and ownership of the Accounts curriculum area at a regional level. The school offer superb training and induction programs and will support you to be confident with their pedagogy and virtual platforms.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the National Curriculum for A level Accounts, including exam specifications. You must have Qualified Teacher Status and a degree or similar Accounts qualification and possess recent experience teaching Accounts to students up to KS5. You will need to be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices, to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing and online resources.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
- QTS or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year English teaching experience in the UK
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Eligibility
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
