Bench Joiner, Wimborne, £18ph

Purpose

As a Bench Joiner, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and joinery components using traditional and modern woodworking techniques.

Rubicon’s client offers a Monday – Friday day shift and a friendly working environment. They offer between £15ph - £18ph depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Bench Joiner will be:
• Assembling and finishing bespoke furniture and cabinetry
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Cutting, shaping, and joining wood components
• Operating a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools such as panel saws
• Ensuring quality standards are met throughout production
• Assisting with installations when required
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Background

The successful Bench Joiner will have:
• Previous experience in bench joinery or cabinet making
• Strong woodworking skills, including the use of traditional joinery techniques
• The ability to read and work from technical drawings
• A keen eye for detail and high standards of craftsmanship
• A proactive and motivated attitude
• Experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment
