About the Role
- Projects: High-profile sites like Shell, Costa, Greggs, car showrooms
- Focus: 11kV systems, substations, LV/HV cable jointing
Responsibilities
- Perform LV/HV cable jointing, termination, and installation
- Diagnose and repair LV/HV systems
- Conduct site assessments for safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate work records and adhere to regulations
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot XLPE, paper lead, copper, and wavecon cables
- Southwest Region with occasional travel (e.g., London)
Requirements
- Proven experience in LV/HV cable jointing
- Knowledge of safety protocols, technical drawings, and standards
- LV and HV qualifications
- Familiarity with DNO authorizations (UKPN LPN/SPN, SSE, WPD, etc.)
