Job Location: Ferndown, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

This position is offered either as a full time 37.5 hours per week or part time 27.5 hours per week. Both roles are office based and will be over 5 days Monday to Friday.

Salary: Full time: £14.00 - £15.64 per hour / £27,300 - £30,500 per annum

Part time: £14.00 - £15.64 per hour / £20,020 £22,365.20 per annum

Hours: Either Full or Part time hours available

Full time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday Thursday 8.30am 5.00pm & Friday 8.30am 15.45pm

Part time: 27.5 hours per week, Monday Friday 9.30am 2.30pm

A leading Manufacturing company based in Ferndown are seeking a Logistics & Invoicing Administrator to join their team on a permanent contract to work either Full or Part time hours.

This role will be working closely with the Sales team to ensure that all accurate & relevant documentation is prepared and completed for the despatch of customer orders both UK & worldwide.

Within this role you be:

Liaising with the warehouse, shipping agents and hauliers to arrange the despatch, packing and shipping of machinery both UK and worldwide.
Analysing packing and freight costs on a regular basis.
Obtaining proof of export from freight forwarders.
Undertake export shipping documentation, including certificate of origin, commercial invoices, packing lists, carrier notes, labels and EUR 1 forms.
Raising invoices on a regular basis for machinery sales at each stage of the project.
Collate & check Proof of Export Documents and raise invoices as required.
Undertaking the co-ordination of the import of samples for customer orders and projects.
Recording of actual samples received and the destruction of expired samples

The successful applicant should possess:

Previous logistics / shipping / import & export experience
PC literate with excellent Excel skills
Experience of raising sales invoices
Experience of the following would be beneficial;
Export Transportation & Documentation
Global Export Shipping via Road, Sea & Air
Importation Documentation for Customs Clearance
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Ability to prioristise workload and work with a number of projects at the same time
